Link Building

Rankings are earned twice: by what you publish and by who points at it. Link Building runs both sides for one brand – articles researched, written, and published continuously, earning contextual backlinks from relevant sites as the library grows. You approve the plan; the publishing happens without you.

It is a paid add-on: $399 a month per brand, on top of your plan. Cancel any time – everything already published stays yours.

Find it at /link-building (or Studios → Link Building).

Starting

Tell it where the articles should live – your domain – and activate. The engine researches keywords worth owning for your market, plans a publishing calendar, and starts writing. The first articles typically publish within days, and links accumulate as the library grows – expect compounding over months, not a spike in week one.

Where articles go

  • Connected CMS (WordPress and the other platforms The AI CMO publishes to): articles publish straight to your site. The same connection your Writing Studio uses – if it can publish there, so can Link Building.
  • No CMS connected: every article lands in your Library, full content and images included, ready to publish wherever you want.

Either way the articles are yours – written for your brand, on your domain, earning links for you.

The calendar

The studio shows a publishing calendar: articles already published, and the planned queue ahead. Until an article is written, you stay in control of it:

  • Change the keyword – click a planned day and swap what that article should target.
  • Brief the writer – add per-article instructions ("write for beginners, include a setup checklist") and the writer follows them.

Published articles are listed with their links; anything published to your own site links out from your pages, never to them.

The Links table shows every backlink earned: the source page, the anchor, its domain rating, and its status – verified, not yet verified, or newly created. Lost links drop out; the count you see is links that exist right now.

Settings

Three tabs, editable any time:

  • Business – what the brand does, so articles stay on-topic.
  • Audience – who reads them, so the writing lands.
  • Articles – tone, length, and whether articles publish to your CMS automatically or wait in the Library.

Your agents know about it

Autonomous specialists see the program – articles published, links earned – so their content plans complement it instead of duplicating it. Ask in chat ("how is link building doing?") for the current status any time.

Stopping

Stop ends the add-on at the end of the current billing period – articles keep publishing until then, and everything already published and every link already earned stays. Your platform plan is untouched.
